DEFINITION:

Retaining walls are often needed in lieu of areas where slopes are determined infeasible.  The walls are used to retain earth and can be made of block, concrete or mechanically stabilized earth (MSE).

OUR JOB:

7 Oaks Engineering will prepare retaining wall plans, that will include plan and profiles.  Standard details will be referenced for the construction of the retaining wall.  Top of wall, top of footings, utility crossings through or under walls, subdrains, structural surcharge and site constraints will be analyzed and carefully accounted for in the design.
